No degree of separation. No fame. Just writers writing. Authentic. Whimsical. Vulnerable. "It's all true, none of it's true, don't ask." We often spend too much time thinking about writing instread of writing. Our group meets to spend time writing. After we get our coffee, we pick a prompt (phrases, pictures) and a time period of a few minutes (5-10 minutes is normal). For that time period, we write on that prompt, using paper and pen. … Critiquing means constructive criticism, as well as the ability to have a thick skin when you're the one being critiqued. It's about the writing, not the person.
